Measure Guide

Step 1: Measure the Width&Length (Determine Rod/Track Length and Placement)

If you have had the rod installed, please measure the rod length and record this measurement.

If you do not have the rod installed, mount your rod or track at an appropriate height. We recommend positioning the rod as close to the ceiling as possible to create a more spacious look.
The rod should extend about 6-15 inches beyond each side of the window frame to minimize light leakage and allow sufficient space for curtain stacking.
If you wish to keep the full view of your window, consider the stack-back width in advance.

Step 2: Determine the Curtain Panel Width

To avoid draperies looking like a stretched sheet, you need to consider to add fullness for certain header Types for additional width to cover. Therefore, different header types require different ways to determine the width to achieve the best visual effect.

Top Pencil Pleat

Considering the fabric fullness for the design. We suggest order 200-230% fabric fullness to create the pleats, ensuring a rich and voluminous look. And please order 200% fabric fullness at least to ensure the perfect effect.
*If you need a fuller look, you can consider adding 250% fullness based on your preference. This is a personal choice, not a requirement.

Per Panel Width = Rod/Track width × Fullness (at least 200%) ÷ Panel Quantity

Grommet Top

The default fullness is 1 (or 100%), then you should consider multiply 170-200% fullness for final measured width. 170% fullness will produce a more tailored look, while 200% fullness, which is recommended will create a richer, more opulent appearance. And please order 170% fabric fullness at least to ensure the perfect effect.

Per Panel Width = Rod/Track width × Fullness (at least 170%) ÷ Panel Quantity

Single/Double Rod Pocket

The default fullness is 1 (or 100%), then you should consider multiply 170-200% fullness for final measured width. 170% fullness will produce a more tailored look, while 200% fullness, which is recommended will create a richer, more opulent appearance. And please order 170% fabric fullness at least to ensure the perfect effect.

Per Panel Width = Rod/Track width × Fullness (at least 170%) ÷ Panel Quantity

Back Tab

The default fullness is 1 (or 100%), then you should consider multiply 170-200% fullness for final measured width. 170% fullness will produce a more tailored look, while 200% fullness, which is recommended will create a richer, more opulent appearance. And please order 170% fabric fullness at least to ensure the perfect effect.

Per Panel Width = Rod/Track width × Fullness (at least 170%) ÷ Panel Quantity

Step 3: Determine the Curtain Panel Length

Curtain length and how the drapes fall in different styles. Different curtain lengths create diverse visual experiences to your room.

1/2 Inch Above the Floor

Crisp and easy to clean, keeping dust, fur, and debris at bay. Perfect for busy households.

Per Panel Lebgth = Rod/Track Height - 1/2 inches

Kiss the Floor

Floor-length with a streamlined effect, gently brushing the surface.

Per Panel Lebgth = Rod/Track Height

Puddling

2-4 inches puddled on the floor for a luxurious, creased look. Not ideal for curtains frequently opened or closed due to dust accumulation.

Per Panel Lebgth = Rod/Track Height + 2 to 4 inches
