DWCN Blackout Curtains with Tiebacks, Rod Pocket/Back Tab, Set of 2 Panels

These curtains are thicker & more effective than some of the cheaper "blackout" curtains that I have seen (and returned), but I was hoping for something closer to the heavy 100% blackout curtains you see in hotels (desert southwest especially). These are not those; they are more lightweight & allow daylight to penetrate through the fabric slightly (see photo & please note that the curtain rod could probably have been adjusted to increase the blackout ratio, I just did not do so because there was an effect through the fabric too). Although I did not keep them for the bedroom needing 100% blackout for daytime sleep, they have been working well for the office, where it's been really easy to just tie & untie instead of opening & closing when I want light. Further, they are insulating enough that I would feel confident putting the computer in front of the window while using them. Finally, they are effective for blocking out the kind of window light glare that interferes with monitors of all kinds.

Pleasantly surprised with these curtains. For the price, I was expecting cheap/flimsy fabric. While not high end fabric, they are thick enough to block out light.
